Welcome to ANFORA – an Exploration of Food and Wine!
The word ‘Anfora’ is used for a large two handled storage jar with an oval body, which was used by Ancient Romans to carry oil and wine. Therefore, it seemed like the perfect match to name the food and wine pairing events ANFORA.
Whether you are new to wine tasting or already have an in-depth knowledge of wines, these food and wine pairing events will definitely be of interest to you. Understanding what goes into making good wine will greatly increase one’s appreciation of what comes out of the bottle. During the evening, you will be presented with the wines of the day, with an in-depth explanation of the wine itself and why this has been chosen to match the food. You will be presented with a 5 course meal, inclusive of the amuse-bouche.

You are kindly requested to be at The Pembroke Suite restaurant by 19:00 for an aperitif, and seated for dinner by 19:30. Dress code is smart casual.
Price per person is €42.00, inclusive of food and carefully selected wines.
We advise early booking as places are limited.
