 Degree Programmes 

Bachelor in Culinary Arts (hons)

The Bachelor in Culinary Arts (hons) in collaboration with the Institut Paul Bocuse (France) will be the first level 6 programme in this area of study offered in Malta. The course will span over 32 months, including internship opportunities.

This programme will assist in the development of the professional culinary industry and chefs in the international culinary community. This means students can achieve a certification which would establish them at a higher level of knowledge and expertise.

Graduates in Bachelor in Culinary Arts (hons) will be looking to a wide range of opportunities for a successful career including but not limited to headship positions in commercial kitchens, bakeries and confectionaries. 

  

Bachelor in International Hospitality Management (hons)

The Bachelor in International Hospitality Management (hons) is offered in collaboration with the University of Applied Science of Haaga-Helia (Finland). The course will span over 32 months, including internship opportunities. 

This programme will be the first degree programme with a vocational aspect and hands on experience to be delivered in Malta. The programme aims to present graduates with the knowledge on how to manage hospitality operations with international dimensions. 

Graduates will also be able to apply and use information and communication as required in this area of study and being able to innovate operations to attract new business. Graduates in International Hospitality will be looking to a wide range of opportunities for a successful career including advancement into headship positions within the Hospitality sector.

  

Bachelor in Gastronomy (hons)

The Bachelor in Gastronomy (hons) is offered in collaboration with The University of Malta. This programme will be the first level 6 programme in this area of study offered in Malta. The course will span over 32 months, including internship opportunities. 

Graduates will also be able to apply and use information and communication as required in this area of study. Graduates of this degree, will be looking at having a career in multiple areas, including but not limited to food Science, cultural food studies, food manufacturing, health and nutrition and food writing or blogging.
