The Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) hosted a three-day Freshers’ Week at the main campus in St Julians between Wednesday 27th and Friday 29th September. During these three days, the institute was transformed from the normal educational institute look to a more fun and energetic atmosphere.
During the Freshers’ Week various ITS departments had their own stand set up with the aim to aide students in finalising their preparations, prior to the official start of the academic year. Apart from the ITS department stands, a number of businesses, organisations and entities were also present. Some of the stands present for the 'ITS Freshers’ Week' include; Agenzija Sedqa, Agenzija Zghazagh, BOV, Scan, General Soft Drinks, Farsons Direct, Crocs, MTA and Ombudsman.
ITS CEO, Mr. Pierre Fenech said “The Freshers’ Week is a fun way to start the academic year, were students get to know the ITS staff members, hand in the necessary forms and at the same time benefit from great offers and acquire information from the different organisations and entities available at one place.”
