The Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) highly values and recognises the voluntary work carried out by its students. This engagement provides students with the opportunity to obtain academic credits (ECTS) through voluntary work activities. The main objective of this scheme is to foster and inspire voluntary contributions to society at large.
Students can submit their voluntary work hours for review by the Curriculum and Accreditation Department by downloading the forms from the link below and sending them to curriculum@its.edu.mt. The department has the authority to award 1 ECTS for every 25 hours of confirmed voluntary work, with a maximum limit of 5 ECTS per academic year.
