At the Institute of Tourism Studies, the Internal Quality Assurance Committee (IQAC), located in Block A Room 111, is all about ensuring a positive learning experience to achieve your desired goals at ITS.
How Can you contribute to Quality?Remember, as a student, you are part of the quality experience. By observing the rules and regulations, you directly contribute to a safe and pleasant learning experience for yourself and others. The student's council is also your voice for Quality. The council meets with the IQAC once monthly.
Additionally, the student council members sit on two essential boards, the Board of Studies and the Programme Quality Validation Board. As a result, students are represented in the decision making of Programmes and Modules at ITS.

The Ombudsman's role is an important one. While he is expected to determine whether such actions conformed to applicable laws and regulations, he is also encouraged to consider all factors when commenting on their fairness. If the Ombudsman concludes that the actions that led to the complaint conformed to law or practice but was unreasonable, unjust, oppressive or improperly discriminatory, he can recommend adequate redress. The Ombudsman may also make recommendations to rectify the injustice and reconsider any law on which it is based.
